Prokofiev Cello Sonata (Arranged for Double Bass)
Here is my arrangement of the Prokofiev Cello Sonata! This is written for solo tuning (A-E-B), and preferably with a low C string on the bottom as well, but this isn’t essential.
I’ve performed it a few times now but have no recordings yet. Once I have a recording it will be published! This arrangement is mostly in the original cello octave with only a few passages brought down an octave for convenience. The double stops and chords have all been adapted to be bass friendly as well.
The piano part is not yet available as it has been extremely long typesetting project, but I will email the piano to anyone who purchases once it is complete. For the mean time, the piano part is available on IMSLP.
